George is world-famous for his art depicting the Cajun French people of south Louisiana in a unique style called Naive Surrealism.
His most recent creation in paint, a blue spirit dog that is a cross between a former pet named Tiffany and the "loup-garou"(werewolf of the bayous) has reached the status of an icon. The intense but humorous creature (whose color is a reflection of moonlight) appears in Rodrigue's paintings searching for him and trying to return. The series is a restatement of the thought that there is another life.
